The war between pet owners and Fleas is as long as time. But it’s pointless for us humans. The common flea will always win. After all, how can we compete with a species whose females lay up to 40 eggs a day? If you allow just one female into your house, in 60 days your home could be crawling/jumping with as many as 20,000 fleas!

Of course, you could always see it as an opportunity to start your very own flea circus. And yes, these do actually exist. In the early 1900s, William Heckler was one of the first people to become a successful flea master. He called his fleas “skilled professionals” as they leapt, juggled, raced and answered to his voice commands.
