We’re back to share more of the cards we love the most, and since apparently AvidTobes’ favorite card is the standard common Corned Beef Sandwich, we’ve got a double whammy today.

Tobes loves this story of an evil plot coordinated by Wally Schirra and John Young to sneak illegal contraband onto the Gemini 3 launch. That illegal contraband was, of course, the humble corned beef sandwich.
Bread’s not usually allowed up in space due to its excessive crumbiness, but John Young was obviously dangerously addicted to the processed delicacy. Thankfully, no casualties were reported although a couple of rye crumbs did reportedly get loose.
