“Lichen is a fantastic buffer to two very interesting and niche collections. The card alone makes me want to build Funky Fungi and Under the Microscope once those collections become more fleshed out.
It also lets you do a weird 3/3 package if you run 3 Mushrooms and Microscope cards, which works well with Statue of Liberty and Cyborg. I just wish Dead Mana fingers only required 3 Tremendous Trees and was “until played” so it fits perfectly in this type of deck”.
