We wanted to take a moment this morning to highlight the Caorthannach card, which can be found in today’s Playing With Fire pack.
From Irish Mythology, the Caorthannach is the fire-spitting mother of all demons, spawning the Devil himself. Hardcore. Her children travel the world in the form of snakes - and you too can terrorize the league leaderboard (leaguerboard?) with her powerful Venomous Creatures buff:
When drawn, if your deck contains 3 or more cards with “Hell” in the name, your Venomous Creatures cards, wherever they are, gain +15 Power until played. However, when played, if you are losing the round, give them all an additional +15 Power.
Despite the slightly awkward set up, +30 Power to a collection is extremely powerful. Perhaps Hell Courtesan could be played with The Door to Hell and Hellboy, the Regaliceratops - requiring just one more album for a Heimdall deck!
