New Behemoth Card!

Dan

Behemoth is here, and you can grab it in today's Triple Pack!

This mythical monster's career peaked with a joint-third in the tenth series, tied with Nuts 2, after years coming up short against Killertron, Pitbull, Razer and... sorry, I'm thinking of the Robot Wars robot, Behemoth, whose career you can read about in frankly obscene detail on the Robot Wars wiki.

No, of course, we mean the mythical Behemoth, the oxen beast made by God at the beginning of creation, alongside the Leviathan. No robot called Leviathan ever competed in Robot Wars, although there was a Leighviathan which only appeared in series 2 and... look, I have suddenly discovered an absurd amount of Robot Wars knowledge and I need to do something with it.

Right, is that the goofy stuff out of the way? Great.

Hello, it's Dan here, and today is my last at Avid Games (although I've written news stories to see us through the next week, so I'm not quite gone yet. My digital ghost is going to haunt this news feed, for a little while longer).

I just want to say that it's been a pleasure to work on CUE, and with the entire Avid Games team, for the last five years. Having this opportunity to create exciting and varied content has been an experience I'll treasure for my entire career, but it wouldn't be half as rewarding if it wasn't for the players enjoying my work on a daily basis.

This game has allowed me to ramble, in these news posts and on the backs of the cards, more or less unchecked, and I want to thank you for reading my waffle. And if it taught you something along the way, then it was worth learning all those complicated new words like "phlogisticate", "omphaloskepsis", and "humility."

Thank you. You will still never know my CUE username.
