Norn Shall Pass

Paul

‘Norn’ is a very weird word to say out loud. We’ve said it a lot recently as we’re excited about today’s Norse Mythology Pack (12:00 UTC), which heralds the arrival of three Norns, and… well, a Well.

The Norns represent the past (Urðr), present (Verðandi) and future (Skuld) and they gather round the Well of Fate (Urðarbrunnr) beneath Yggdrasil, where they drink tea, eat cake, and determine the fates of everyone*.

These cards work as a formidable unit - buffing each other depending on the other cards played to date.

Elsewhere today, the Ice Pop comes to Curious Cuisine. This week is all about luck, and the story of how Ice Pops came to be is certainly fortuitous. The card also has a ridiculous ability and we’re not sure if it will see much play - but we hope some of you give it a go :)

Need to Fill Your Cup and Fill Your Coffers? Well, today’s the day to do that too. Those packs are out now.

*Bit of poetic licence on the tea and cake, but we’re confident that’s what they should be doing.
