September Balance Patch‍

We had another buff-heavy balance patch this month, bringing a boost to Crustaceans, Raging Rivers, and many more Oceans and Seas collections!

Thank you for all the feedback on card balance, and we hope you’re enjoying these buff heavy balance patches!

‍New card highlights

Season 6 isn’t done yet. Weird World continues to see exciting new cards and prepare to venture into the underworld with our Greek Mythology collection:

• Hanging Coffins (Weird World) - Tired of the same old boring burial options? Want to take your final resting place to new heights? Look no further than Hanging Coffins!
• Vulcan (The Roman Empire) - Child of Jupiter and Juno, Vulcan is the Roman god of fire and all things that go boom. This hot-headed deity ruled over all things combustible and destructive, such as volcanoes.
• Kharon (Greek Mythology) - When it's time for your one-way trip to the great beyond, you'll get your very own tour guide of the underworld.

August Recap

Card highlights from Season 6 so far

Myths and Legends has bolstered Mythical Creatures, Primates and Musically Minded in the past month…

• Guivre (Mythical Creatures) - Half-dragon, half-serpent, the fearsome Guivre prowled mediaeval French forests and ponds, spreading terror with its venomous breath, much like my dad.
• Golden Lion Tamarin (Primates) - Roughly the size of a squirrel, the Golden Lion Tamarin sports a luxurious mane to make Mufasa proud.
• Victor Hugo (The Write Stuff) - To the Barricades! Hugo’s writing captured the essence of humanity and the struggles of injustice. Sadly, it also led to a thousand unwanted covers of ‘I Dreamed a Dream’.

Matchmaking changes

We’re keeping a keen eye on tweaks we made in August that we hope will improve your matchmaking experience. We’ve seen marked improvements in Events matchmaking and positive signs in League recently as well; we’re optimistic about the changes so far, and thank you for your continued feedback. Please keep it coming!
