The Haunting of CUE Cards

9:00 UTC

You better watch that pretty neck of yours because the Lost Your Head pack rolls into the store this morning. Scoop it up for a Halloween card back, a Limited Legendary and a fistful of gems. Once you’ve got your head screwed back on, you can also top up on even more cards and gems with the Fill Your Cup, Fill Your Boots and Fill Your Coffers packs. You’re going to have more gems than sense and it’s not even lunchtime yet!

If a haunting light is trying to beckon you outside, be wary. It might be another trickster fairy! This time it’s the Will-o’-the-Wisp. (We are indeed overrun by trickster fairies this week, please send help.) If you decide to trust this ghostly ball of light, when returned to your deck, if you lost the turn, gain +50 Power Per Turn for two turns. Just a warning though, they’re prone to leading lost souls astray so mind your step!

12:00 UTC

We’re looking for the finest ghost hunters today in CUE and we’re asking you to investigate some of the spookiest places on the planet with 4 new Weird World cards. Get ready to experience chills as you enter these haunted locations:

  • Nagoro Village - this spooky village’s human inhabitants number only a few and it’s now mostly populated by creepy dolls. When drawn, if your deck contains 3 or more Playtime cards, give your Horrible Halloween cards +18 Power until played.
  • Christ of the Abyss - located off the coast of Italy, this bronze statue of Christ lurks beneath the waves and reaches for the heavens above, and, when played, if your deck contains at least 9 Oceans and Seas cards, your History cards gain +14 Power until played, and vice versa.
  • Glamis Castle - the inspiration behind Macbeth’s castle, this Scottish estate is home to several ghosts, including one with no tongue! If played with Playing Cards, give your Horrible Halloween cards +8 Power permanently.
  • Hoia Forest - A hotbed for supposed paranormal activity, this Romanian forest will, when drawn, if you have played Ghost, give your Tremendous Trees +15 Power this turn.

Midnight UTC

Those aren’t the only places hiding demons tonight because if you search the Deep Ocean pack, you might spot the Giant Devil Ray. This horned deep sea dweller will, if your deck contains The Devil (XV), give your Deep Ocean cards +22 Power until played.
