The Usual Suspects

9:00 UTC

Your decks will look like a crime scene with the Custom pack. Make off with it for a guaranteed Limited Rare, Limited Epic, Limited Legendary and a creepy new Deck Sleeve.

15:00 UTC

Call in the CSIs, because the Chemical Reaction Science Rare pack is in the store with some fantastically forensic cards to top up your Science decks with.

17:00 UTC

Today’s Quarter Pounder is truly criminal. We’ve got a line-up of 4 new cards from Hoaxes and Cons, On Track, Fairytales and Riding the Waves. Let’s meet the suspects quick because some of these are going away for a long time:

  • Charles Ponzi - pretty sure we’ve all heard of a Ponzi scheme so now you can put a despicable face to an equally despicable name and, when drawn, give your cards in hand +50 Power until this turn. While in your hand, at the start of each turn, give your cards in-hand -10 Power until played.
  • British Rail Class 40 - the site of the Great Train Robbery, when played, give a random card in your hand -30 Power for the rest of the round, and gain +30 Power Per Turn this turn.
  • The Juniper Tree - murder, child abuse, cannibalism - the Brothers Grimm should have been locked up for this one so, when drawn, give a random card from either player's hand -40 Power this turn, and give your Curious Cuisine cards +30 Power this turn.
  • The Fighting Temeraire - once a glorious part of the Battle of Trafalgar and then briefly a sinister prison ship, when played, if your deck contains at least 5 Riding the Waves! cards, give them cards -10 Power permanently, and give all your cards +5 Power permanently.

Midnight UTC

If you stay up past lights out, you’ll spot the Excellent Elements pack in the CUE store and with it, a chance for Tantalum. Named for the figure in Greek mythology, when played, if you have played Tantalus this game, this card gains +20 Power permanently, surprisingly enough.
