It's fair to say that the Trade Meter has had a slightly bumpy journey, but hey, we had fun building it and it was, of course, motivated by an attempt to protect players from potentially unfair trades.
But as often happens, you, the CUE community, have provided us with lots of feedback (I know we always say this, but it really is helpful when changes we make aren't met with deathly silence).
In this case, we've listened and decided to hand the metaphorical reins back to you, as we will no longer be blocking trades deemed unbalanced by the meter.
Rest assured, we'll be keeping a beady eye on the change and may make some additional adjustments to the economy in the future. But hopefully not, as we’re quite excited to give this a whirl.
The Trade Meter will remain your trusty sidekick (much like the Sundance Kid or Doc Holliday), offering helpful hints to build savvy trades. We'll still give you a heads-up if you’re about to swap 4 Legendary cards for a Common. But this is, in essence, a return to the Wild West, so it seems only fitting that we give away a FREE Legends of the Old West pack for you to enjoy your new freedoms with.
