You Don't Turn Your Back on Family

Look, we understand there’s a lot of words on the back of these cards and doubt anyone’s had the chance to read every single last one (but do write in to prove us wrong!). For Fast and Furious fans in particular, we do recommend flipping a few of these over, as you might quickly find out our esteemed copywriter is also a big fan. If you're the first to find any other F&F references feel free to write into our socials, we'll see if our Community Manager AvidJoe might want to chuck something your way! For example…

In the barbecue finale scene of Fast 9, we see a chair at the family table that’s left intentionally empty. That seat is still reserved for Brian (Paul Walker, RIP.) Well, the Knights of the Round Table may not have had cars, but they did have family.

In Arthurian legend, the Siege Perilous is an empty seat at the Round Table reserved by Merlin for the knight who would successfully find the Holy Grail. In Thomas Malory's book "Le Morte d'Arthur," Sir Galahad takes the seat on Whitsunday, but it is said to be fatal for anyone unworthy who sits in it. (For context, it would be like if Hobbs or Shaw took Brian’s seat.) Some scholars believe the “perilous seat” is a half-remembered Celtic ritual similar to the Irish Lia Fáil.
