Sir David Attenborough is 100% human, whereas the Attenborosaurus is a genus of plesiosaur - a reptile with a long neck, round body and four limb paddles.
What if David Attenborough isn’t human, but rather the descendent of a gigantic, extinct sea monster – specifically, the Attenborosaurus? Sorry to disappoint, but our sources have confirmed that Sir David is 100% human, whereas the Attenborosaurus is a genus of plesiosaur - a reptile with a long neck, round body and four limb paddles.
Nevertheless, it is named after Sir David Attenborough himself. And, after the name was made official, Sir David paid a visit to the fossil reptile at the Natural History Museum in London. The remains of the beast were first discovered on the Jurassic Coast in 1880. They revealed that the Attenborosaurus lived about 190 million years ago during the Early Jurassic Period and swam in the tropical seas that covered land on the south coast of England.
