Since the first recorded consumption of Coffee (dating back to the 15th century for its stimulating properties), its popularity as a staple drink has yet to wane. Approximately two billion cups of coffee are consumed every day, and assuming an average of around 50 beans required for a single espresso, that's a whopping 100 billion coffee beans brewed every single day.
So yeah. People really like coffee. And rightfully so! The delightfully bitter beverage can be prepared in myriad different ways, from a nice cold cup of Cà phê sữa đá in Vietnam, to the slightly more out-there Kaffeost (literally translating to 'coffee cheese') in Scandinavian regions.
While I may pass on the coffee cheese, would you mind popping the kettle on?
