"Go on then, CUE - tell me something interesting about Fog." I hear you say. I mean, they're just low clouds, so I could direct you to the Clouds card and tell you to imagine that but on the ground and not in the sky.
Well, have you ever heard of La Garua, a fog in Peru that is not thick enough to obscure vision, but wet enough that you have to have your windscreen wipers on in the car?
AND, did you know that the Golden Gate Bridge was not originally meant to be orange? The orange came from the sealant they were using at the time, to be replaced with a black and yellow colour scheme later (imagine that!), but because of fog in the Bay Area they kept the orange for visibility
Oh, and I HAVE to tell you about the time that Sam Bartram, goalkeeper for Charlton Athletic, defended his goal for fifteen minutes after a soccer game was called off because the fog was too thick. He stood there in his box, alert and ready for opposing strikers, until a policeman came up to him and told him the game finished quarter of an hour ago.
