A word of advice: if a witch doctor sets a Lightning Bird on you, kill it with fire. We’re talking actual flames, here, as gunshots or stabbing will not work.

Also known as the Imundulu or Thekwane, the Lightning Bird is a shape-shifting vampiric creature from South African mythology. Used by the magically-inclined to control minds, cause illness or bring about bad luck, this being can take the form of a rooster-like bird, that of a peacock or a horrifying winged creature the size of a person. When needed, it can even masquerade as a human, feeding off of the blood of other humans. Simply put, this bird is Bad News.
