Six years prior, scientists unearthed two gigantic pliosaur skeletons in Svalbard, Norway. One of the two giant creatures was dubbed Predator X and looked different to other pliosaurs that had been discovered before. After years of painstaking analysis, the researchers concluded that Predator X was a new species.
