Players became addicted to this game, with feral behaviour ensuing in violent arcade brawls over who would play next. The side effects of this addiction? Oh, just your run-of-the-mill insomnia, night terrors, and seizures.

According to urban legend, Men in Black would collect data from these games, supposedly testing their psychoactive effects. After a month, Polybius vanished without a trace. Most believe this game never existed, just a hoax implying government experiments on unsuspecting civilians. But hey, if the government wants to study my Mario Kart skills, they're welcome to it.
