The Chenoo: Algonquin folklore's answer to extreme hangriness. Picture this: a grizzled, old-man-wolf creature, literally eating itself out of sheer hunger. Not exactly dinner party material.
These once-human creatures got a raw deal, cursed by dark magic into being perpetually famished flesh-eaters. Adapting to their cursed existence, Chenoos' body temperatures soared, compelling them to dwell in the coldest snows.
And if you thought getting rid of them was as easy as a well-aimed headshot, think again. These guys need a full-on body chop-shop treatment, especially their icy heart. However, when it comes to devouring flesh, they do not like seasoning. A salt overdose can kill a Chenoo, so it's worth stocking up on those free packets you get at burger joints just in case you cross one.
