A quiet evening in the Black Forest took a horrifying turn when two local children, Hansel (10) and Gretel (8), were reportedly abandoned by their legal guardians, who cited economic hardship. The children were lured into an unconventional dwelling constructed entirely from confectionery materials.

The elderly woman inside, described as ‘frail but deeply unsettling’, allegedly attempted to imprison the minors for purposes strongly suspected to be culinary in nature. Authorities say the girl, Gretel, overpowered the woman and forced her into an oven in what experts are calling ‘both a crime and a community service.’

Following the incident, the minors appropriated assets from the premises, including high-value gemstones. Local officials remain baffled by the long-term structural integrity of the gingerbread-based residence. Health and safety violations are pending review.
