Yo, the name is Jack, I like to attack, I’ve chased so many foxes I can barely keep track. I’m friendly but tenacious, my energy’s contagious, call it “small dog syndrome”, but I just call it greatness. *Mic drop*

Okay, so the Jack Russell Terrier can’t rap, but if it could, it would be the best rapper of all time. OF ALL TIME. Originally, the breed was named after Reverend John “Jack” Russell, an avid fox hunter who bred hunting dogs during the 1800s. Since then, the breed has been renamed, sort of, three times.
After the Rev died, the breed evolved into the “Parson terrier” which had longer legs. The newest offshoot is Russell terrier, AKA “Shorty JRT”, which has the shortest legs of all at only eight inches tall.
