Like an electric scooter, Thomson’s Gazelle has a top-speed of 40 miles per hour. Now, we’re by no means suggesting that you put this fact to the test and challenge a gazelle to a race on a scooter. But if you do, we may or may not place bets on it.

This grazing antelope is known to its friends as “Tommie”, and Thomson’s Gazelle has a lot of friends. As a herd animal, you’ll find Tommie in groups consisting of as few as ten or as many as several hundred. In the mornings and evenings, the gazelles all get together to socialise. During these parties, young members of the group engage in play such as slotting, in which they spring into the air like excited bunnies.
