The FA has determined that the skeleton found in the woods is most likely:

A male, as determined from his pelvis and the skull,
Between 25 and 35 years of age,
Between 6ft and 6ft 2ins from his leg bones,
Most likely white,
There was no match from the DNA database

When this information is fed into the Missing Person’s database which houses records of all persons registered as ‘missing’, it returns 1,500 possible names.  This is too many for the police to be able to investigate, and so assistance is needed from the public.  

Most of us recognise people we know from their faces and so a facial reconstruction may be attempted.
